WHAT'S NEW ON THE SITE (updated 11/22/08)
  • The 2009 HPR weekend schedule is now posted on the Events page. Most weekend dates for the clubs are now in place and have been posted. The process of the clubs creating their respective 2009 schedules and selecting their HPR dates is now largely finalized, but always subject to some needed refinement or change. Make sure you've got your 2009 calendars marked! Also consult the respective club websites for all their other events, not just those at HPR.

To inquire or book HPR for any available dates (weekend and/or weekday), please contact Glenn Conser at mraracer157@yahoo.com as soon as possible to make an application to reserve the track. Applications should include:

    • Name of your organization
    • General description of vehicles and activities
    • How many vehicles expected
    • Dates requested
    • Contact info for whomever has the authority to sign a contract

  • Oct. 10, 2008 - A new "What's Happening" letter has been released and is now on the News page . It speaks to the amazing progress and conclusion of Phase I construction of HPR. In just six weeks since funding targets for the "Useable Facility" were met, the entire track, paddock and access road paving is now complete! HPR is now a reality and will be ready for the 2009 season!

  • Please take a few minutes to visit the HPR Photo Page and inspect all the great photos showing the entire construction process, beginning to end, including the neat aerial photos of the completed circuit. As a special treat, check out a new video is on the HPR YouTube page. It is the very first real video (not a computer simulation) of a lap around HPR. This new video item is in addition to all the other great computer simulated laps already on the HPR YouTube Page. Sneak pre-view: For you on-line gamers, there may even be an on-line computer HPR Winter Racing Series coming. Stay tuned.

  • The Capital Campaign will continue so HPR isn't just a great track, but also a great facility. To date, the combination of support from the founding clubs, from all the wonderful Founding Contributors, from subscriptions to the loan program, and from pro-bono professional services has combined to create our "useable facility". Thus a 2.5 miles circuit, good paddock area, and an access road are now all but complete and will be available for the 2009 racing season. HPR is a reality and Kudos to all. However, all of the roughly $3.5 million raised so far was needed to provide the "useable facility." Please go over to the Capital Campaign page and take a few minutes to read details about the necessity to continue raising funds for the urgently needed amenities. The good news is still lots of potential for raising those funds:

    • Club members who will use HPR but who haven't yet contributed. If you're in this category, now is the time! HPR needs your support NOW!
    • Existing donors who have expressed, "If you need some more, let me know." If you are one of those wonderful donors, now is also the time!
    • Commercial opportunities are opening up for HPR. Due to the fact that HPR is now a reality, the Founding Sponsor program is increasingly attractive to businesses. Please refer to the Contact Us page and contact Greg Kyde for details on commercial business opportunities.
